Two Airports, Almost Equally Close

Palo Alto sits between two comfortable options: SJC at roughly 15 miles, SFO at roughly 21. Neither is a long haul, which is why bookings split fairly evenly between them depending on the airline and the flight. OAK, by contrast, is a real cross-bay trip at 28 miles — still flat-rate and flight-tracked, just a different kind of ride.

This is the birthplace of Silicon Valley in the most literal sense — the garage at 508 Addison Avenue where HP got its start is a few blocks from University Avenue.
